Glass top

So, I think I am done with glass top tables because everyone else seems to be. I bought this guy for $60 and sold it for a whoppin' $69. It was neat though because I sold it to a return shopper whom I had apparently inspired with my side business. She has been refinishing stuff and reselling it because I gave her the idea. I love that I have a small following and that it is making their lives better.

Dresser set

I bought these solid wood cuties for $45. My in-laws are buying to match a bed they had - it will be an awesome match. Sold for $100 . . which may seem steep, but keep in mind they are solid wood and I had pay gas and rent a uhaul for $120 to cart the weekend finds. I'm a little nicer now right?. . . They are very lovely.

Day bed

Bought this guy for $45, couldn't find change so gave it to a couple of ladies who were buying it for their friend who's kiddos were sleeping on the floor for $140. Sad and selfless.

I bought this Ashley furniture table for $50 and then $15 in fabric and touch up supplies. Sold it for $325. Another weekend where I wish I had a bigger house to decorate. Such pretty stuff.

Arrowhead garage sales

I hit the arrowhead garage sales this weekend. If the quality of garage sale items is any indicator of how well the economy is doing, then I have to say things are looking up. I bought some beautiful stuff this weekend. I spent about 5 times more than I usually spend and I hope it pays off . . . I bought these two beautiful beds from the same man for $160. I sold the white bed (which was awesome) for $180. Sold mission bed for $140.

Lot o' goods

I bought these three items from one gentleman for the bargain price of $75. I sold the tv stand for $55, the desk for $100. . waiting on the futon still. Sold the futon for $75

Dresser and table

I bought the table for $10, it was a little worn and so I sold it too low for $35. I got the dresser for $25 and sold it for $95

full beds and drama. . .

I bought the bed pictured with no mattress for $30, and the bed pictured with mattress for $65. A man came in a frazzled moment and I gave him change (thinking he gave me a hundred dollars more than he did) and he took it and ran . ..and didn't return my call even though I left him pleading messages about the mistake. He knew and is kind of a mean man, I hope the mattress is more miserable than his morals (which are pretty bad). So I sold the $30 bed with the mattress for $120 rather than $220 and I sold the other bed for $175.

I will cry for this bed someday we move and I don't have it for Lauren's room. I got this gorgeous bed with pullout trundle and NEW mattress for $24. No surprise it sold so quickly for $210. I miss it already.

Ok, I didn't lose anything on this couch but it wasn't worth the time or the investment. I bought this couch set which I thought was adorable for $75, and sold it for a whoppin $100.

On the other hand I bought this bunk bed set for $95 and sold it for $275.

Update: my first "return" They let me keep $50 to return it. Too bad I just sold it for $200 the second time. . . Lost $25 for being a sucker.
