I found this guy for $25 on craigslist at 10:00pm at night, sold it by 11:00am the next morning for $175. Aaaahhhhh. I think I should keep shopping on craigslist!

I found this beauty at a garage sale for $40. It had nice lines but nothing too note worthy. I took care of that! Here are the before and afters on our lovely red piano. I am worried about my refinishing skills, it looks gorgeous . . I just hope it wears well. It came with a bench that I have yet to do.

Tis the season to be jolly . . . and broke. There have been few garage sales this month and nothing worth buying. This sent me shopping on craigslist for goodies. I found this set for $175 and sold it for $300 - way less than usual, but most people have already blown their Christmas $, so I'm taking it and running!

When a pastor for a church showed up to buy this set for a family with no beds I caved on the price. . sad to think of anyone living on the streets during this most special holiday. Bought for $80, sold for $200.

Rustic set.

When I bought the furniture for Lauren's room FOREVER ago, they gave me this amoire - broken. I had been a lazy bones about fixing it. But six months later when I got a couple of tables that matched it exactly I got off my tooshy. I paid ten dollars for new hinges and $25 for the two tables. Sold the set for $150.

Couch sets

I purchased the brown couch set for $75 and the cream set for $40. Sold the brown set for $200. Sold the cream set for $170.

Flashback bedroom set

I know this might not be the "in" thing at the moment- but I got a massive armoire, large dresser and two night stands for $75 - I need room in my garage and money in my pocket so I discounted it a ton today to move it. Sold it for $135.

Lovely beds.

I tell you what, I have had loads of beds lately. I found both this mission style twin and this cherry wood bed for $50 each. Quite lovely. Sold the mission style twin with box spring for $95. Sold the cherry wood bed for $100.

Sofa table

This piece of heaven went for much less than expected. Shucks! Bought for $25, sold for $60.

A keeper!!!

I found this piano for $40. That's right, forty bones jones! They had refinished just the piano at some point- not very well I might add. The piano finish is different than the bench finish. I am going to strip this sucker and try to make it shine. There are lots of dings and chips so I am hopeful the wood filler won't be too obvious or I will have to change directions and paint it. Wish me luck! I can't wait for my babies to learn piano from their grandma!

Fantastic chairs and a table too.

I found this set for $50 and sold it for $100 very quickly. These chairs are so charming- they scream "refinish me beautifully!" Hopefully the lovely lady will make them gorgeous!

I got this gorgeous hutch that someone had started to refinish and then stopped for $20. I was thinking I would put the work in and sell it for a heap, but I've got a bunch of school work to do so I posted it for $80 as is and had a bunch of interest. Sold for $80- kind of sad I didn't have the time. It is a magical piece!

Verrado goodies

Found this dresser and bunk bed for $20 - need a little TLC. Sold dresser for $20, got a $20 deposit from someone else who didn't show up, then resold them for $65.
